Tolling by the request of the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, as a mark of solidarity following the devastating fire at Notre Dame Cathedral. Respecting its long heritage on Earth, tolling 85 times was to honor the 85 decades the cathedral has stood since construction first started in the 1160s.
